Othello jumps his heart out at the Belgian Championship

The adorable gelding Othello van den Haarthoeve jumped at the Belgian Championship for 8 years old horses at Sentower Park last weekend.

On Wednesday, Yves and Othello van den Haarthoeve (Diamant de Semilly x Darco x Quintero) kicked-off the Belgian Championship for 8 years old  clearing all the obstacles fault-free.

Also during the second round on Thursday, they flawlessly speeded over the fences. After a small break on Friday, the pressure was on again on Saturday for the final round. Othello once again showed his qualities. Unfortunately, they got one rail down and were not allowed to continue to the jump off. However, Othello placed 7th in the overall Championship. 

It’s great to see how he’s developing. Othello shows a lot of progress, power and most importantly, he wants to be really careful. He  already jumped four 1,45 classes now, from which he cleared three without touching a rail. And now, he completed the Championship with just one fence over the weekend. I'm very proud of him.
